WHAT IS B.I.T.E.?

Southwestern Pennsylvania’s commitment to sustainability starts with its local businesses and communities. B.I.T.E. (Bridge It Together for Everyone), an initiative of Sustainable Pittsburgh, connects consumers with businesses that are taking meaningful action on climate, equity, and sustainability. The program helps elevate businesses committed to responsible practices while making it easier for residents and visitors to support them through their purchasing decisions.

Whether you’re visiting Pittsburgh for the first time or have called the region home for years, take a B.I.T.E. out of Pittsburgh and discover the restaurants, retailers, makers, and service providers helping build a more sustainable and resilient region.
