For the past 13 years, the Millvale Community Library has been much more than a Library; we are an agent for positive change in our Community and beyond! We’ve been a gathering space for meetings. We’ve planned music, art and science programming for adults and children. We are committed to our Community’s Ecodistrict model, taking into consideration the areas of air, water, mobility, energy, food and equity into all decision making and planning. We’ve helped support our local immigrant and refugee populations. We’ve been a safe space for ALL to gather. We’ve helped promote food security in our neighborhood. We’ve protected and shared information. We’ve been a space where people can play, learn and grow. We’ve been a gateway to the digital world. AND WE HAVE BOOKS!
